Jun 16, 2026"Food is delicious - typical Venetian and felt like a home cooked meal. Family run restaurant and the men working here were SO sweet! I had paccheri with scallops and zucchini and house white wine - so good!"

May 26, 2026"We had sardines and caprese salad for starters, both tasted good. For main we had different pastas and one of us had black fish. Everyone else enjoyed their food, as they said it was good but nothing that memorable. I did not like my food that much as I had shell fragments in my pasta. However the service was nice and atmosphere as well."

The menu offers authentic Venetian and Italian dishes —from fresh seafood to homemade pasta and traditional desserts . The atmosphere is warm and intimate, with friendly service that makes you feel welcome. Prices are fair compared to many tourist spots, and the quality of food is excellent. A hidden gem worth discovering if you want a more authentic dining experience in Venice."

May 09, 2026"We were looking for this place for two days after accidentally passing it during day walks around town. Found by by a chance - Thank you Universe! really wanted to try cuttlefish ink risotto and yes it was very much worth the try. Fantastic bruschetta’s for a starter sealed the deal. A big plus - Italian music in the background which was so rare to find everywhere else!"

May 04, 2026"This was a great culinary experience. Good for children and we tried all meals from starters to desert. Favorite was seeing how they remove the bones from you seafood platter which made it that much more enjoyable (a skill my wife wants me to learn for her). Great for families. Staff were amazing."

Apr 12, 2026"This restaurant gave me a unique and memorable experience, with a mix of both positives and a few drawbacks. Let’s start with the atmosphere. Despite being located in the busy city of Venice, the restaurant offers a calm, quiet, and very traditional setting. It truly feels like an old, classic Italian restaurant, which creates a very pleasant and relaxing vibe. Regarding the food, I ordered lasagna, and it was excellent, very flavorful and clearly prepared with a high level of skill. However, we also ordered a seafood shell pasta, and unfortunately, the pasta was undercooked and quite hard. We double-checked it ourselves before saying anything, and it was clearly not cooked properly compared to other pasta dishes we’ve had. This situation had both a negative and a positive side. The downside was that the staff did not acknowledge that the pasta was undercooked and instead explained it as the style of Italian pasta, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, they replaced the dish without any issue, and the second pasta was perfectly cooked and enjoyable. I also tried their beer, which was good and fairly standard. In terms of pricing, it’s similar to other restaurants in Venice. As expected, Venice in general tends to be a bit more expensive compared to other Italian cities. Overall, despite the small issue, the atmosphere and the quality of some dishes make this place worth trying."

Mar 17, 2026"I found this place near where we were staying. They were able to take us without a reservation (so thankful) The prices were so reasonable. The Caprese salad was so refreshing and the lasagne and gnocchi plates were so delicious! Wine was amazing but the homemade limoncello was the best I have had to date. The pineapple dessert was so fresh. The waiters were so kind and just made the experience a total 5 stars!"
